Primary Pulse 9/11/14

Good evening,

Things haven’t looked this poor for mortgages in quite some time; late June!  While a pleasant surprise will be welcomed with open arms, the technicals still point to higher interest rates in the near future!  The theme of the week has been get your locks in early in the day while they’re still hot!  The market has either opened on the up side and faded throughout the day or opened slightly down and continued to fade throughout the day.  Industry language for this phenomenon is, “the last trade moves the whole pile”!

Of the economic releases for tomorrow retail sales has the best chance to help reverse our current trend towards higher rates.
